While looking for another unit, the Union Cross Fire Department wasn’t necessarily looking for a new truck. Rather, they were looking for a unit to add to their fleet that was in good condition.
The department found just what they were looking for at Command Fire Apparatus with a 1996 Pierce Pumper.
“Initially, we shopped around and looked at a couple different units before coming across the Pumper on Command Fire Apparatus,” explained Board Chairman Tanner Boyles.
After going up to check out the Pumper it was decided that it was the unit Union Cross needed.
“The truck was in great condition, almost as if it were new, but for a fraction of the price. Command Fire has been great to deal with and sold us a truck that we believe will be in service for many years to come,” stated Boyles.
